Very disappointing! Overpriced and poor quality! As a solo diner, I can't imagine if be too much of an imposition, but I was just that..an afterthought on service, a pest of a diner. Ordered a vodka drink, took 20 minutes for service and it was simply vodka, mandarin sofa, and a lime. Ordered cassava croquettes and 30 min later, the appetizer was good (the only recommendation I have). Waited another 25 minutes for a glass of rose (why does it take this long to pour a glass?). I ordered the octopus entree and was so disappointed. Few slices of grilled octopus over a mountain of mashed potatoes and a bland sauce. Boring. I guess the price was because of the pile of potatoes? It certainly wasn't for the octopus which was undercooked and no flavor. Bottom line, don't waste your time or your money!

Great place just in front of the beach. The food is gourmet and savoury. Presentation is elegant. The Scandinavian atmosphere, furniture and dishes is really sophisticated. Wines are good. We loved it so much we went there 3 times (2 dinners and 1 lunch). Tiny downside: the service was a bit chaotic (from European eyes). Other than that I definitely recommend this place !

Everybody, make sure to visit this amazing place when you are in Galapagos! In our one-year-long honeymoon trip across the Americas we have not found any other restaurant that would come close to Muyu! We were so enchanted by the great service and the delicious and wonderfully presented food that we literally came back every single day of our stay in San Cristobal and Muyu did not cease to impress. To the contrary, on our last night, they surprised us with a custom-made vegan menu that the chef came up with just for us, as we have tried all their beautiful vegan dishes from the menu before… A huge and heartfelt thank you to the whole team, especially to our charming maître, Paulo for treating us like friends (even showing us around in the lovely rooftop garden!) and taking so good care of us every day! We wish Muyu (or new sister restaurant of hers) was somewhere closer to us in Europe, we would be regulars for sure, we already miss it so much!

A lovely spot to have breakfast in San Cristobal. It’s a few blocks away from the main dock in San Cristobal, but it’s worth the walk. First, it’s got a beautiful beach and ocean view with many seals and birds playing on the beach. Second, the service was perfect - really attentive and timely. Third, the food and drinks were excellent - we had the guacamole, toast, and veggies. Thanks Muyu for the great experience.

Fresh, delicious food. Ate here religiously for a few days. Their iced lattes are to die for, and their lemonades and other beverages are amazing as well. Tacos were the best thing on the menu, although we enjoyed most of their other food. Only thing I wouldn't say is worth it is the dessert; it's expensive for what you get and although it's good, it's nothing special in my opinion.

Not cheap, but really incredible! This is a seriously talented chef. The food was the best I've had in Ecuador. Perfect place to eat during sunset, as they have outdoor seating as well as indoor seating where you can still see the sunset through the giant glass. Japanese inspired decor, with masterfully designed dishes. Fresh baked bread with house made butter, icy ginger lemonade, and a platter of make your own tacos. Absolute treat. Their menu was short, they clearly only serve what they are really good at. Expect at least 20-30 per person minimum. With drinks and dessert it could be 35 per person.
