Delicious food and perfect service in a lovely setting in Puerto Escondido. Great for date night! Value for money for the dishes was really great, and service very prompt and kind without being overbearing. Decided to go for this over some other restaurants with more reviews and absolutely thrilled we did. Totally recommend ️

Best food in Puerto!! Such detail in everything including the service. Such a cool experience for our palette and eyes! Augustin was amazing. The chef came out and had a wonderful conversation with us. Everything was perfect! Make sure to get the octupus!!!

1st floor food is amazing, and thats the only reason why we decided to have dinner at the terrace, but food was not good at all...sweet ceviche?! Come on! Its like making ice cream out of SALT Service is great.

5 stars for service, location (3rd floor plus a crow's nest) and mezcal selection. (And cocktails.) Minus 1 star for price and portion of food. Go here for drinks and sunset during standard time (there's a happy hour 5-7).

Metxcalli is an amazing place and one of my favorite restaurants in Oaxaca. The food is impecabble, we've tried a lot of dishes from the menu and always were completely satisfied with the quality of our dinner. Service and decoration of the restaurant are also fantastic. I can easily recommend it to anyone who is visiting Puerto Escondido!

If you’re looking for a good steak ... in terms of beef quality, portion, presentation and price point... this is five stars ️ ️ ️ ️ ️. It is also a very fancy place... probably the fanciest place around. So it’s a perfect date place. The dish presentation is the best in town. However, nothing really blew me away. As in put me in food coma when, I taste something like I have never tasted before.
