Relaxed, friendly and helpful staff plus nice food. Despite going out with the intention of trying out other places for food we ended up dining in on several nights. We especially liked the fresh salad and more traditional type pizza , much better than the overly sweet and doughy variety commonly found.

The Verandah is amazing! A few weeks ago, my mates from uni and I went for a holiday in Puerto Galera. We wanted to try a lot of different things, and one of those was The Verandah. We were in PG for a week and had lunch one day, and just kept coming back. The food is excellent and service is great! Definitely recommend for anyone wanting to dine in a restaurant with plenty of variety, great staff and brilliant view! Will definitely come back. P.S. This is a photo of one of my favourite meals in the restaurant: Yang Chow Rice with Shrimp. YUM!

The Verandah is the best restaurant in Puerto Galera without doubt. My wife and I had another great meal over the weekend. Loved the Wagyu steak. Pancit Canton with shrimp highly recommended too. Pity such a good restaurant has been attacked by the cyber terrorists below. Just check TripAdvisor reviews if in doubt.

Probably the best restaurant in Puerto Galera. It is a little bit of a walk on the far side of the beach but look for the sign on the beach and follow the walkway up to the restaurant. Filipino asian and european entrees. The food is excellent and presented well. The service is very good as well as the restaurant decor. However the view is amazing from the deck if you come early you can get one of the best seats overlooking the pool and ocean. They open at 7 in the morning so we're going again to try breakfast

I have been going to Puerto Galera since 2001. In my more recent stays there, I have booked myself into the Resort - Out of the Blue. The quality of the accommodation has always been top notch. I thought it could not get any better, however, with my recent visit I noted that the management have completely upgraded the menu and the running of their restaurant- the Verandah. The food and choices were always pretty good, but now with their new menu and overall changes with cooking techniques, it must be the best Resort restaurant in the Philippines. Big congrats to the team, I will certainly return! Of course the accommodations remain first class- always makes for a most pleasant tropical escape

Loved it here. Good food, good ambiance, and great staff. Drinking here is spot on, pair it up with sisig, and pizza, you're good to go! (Dolce Vita and The Verandah are the best)
