On our first trip to Mexico and Riviera Maya we were unsure who to connect with. But Garret, who we met at their beach stand near our resort was super. Low pressure. Very informative and helpful answering questions not only about what they offer but questions about the area. And much better pricing than we had encountered. Next day, Craig and Carlos were at the booth to check us in for a snorkel tour. The boat and equipment are well maintained and the guides know their stuff. They also show their love for what they are doing and appreciate and respect the reef. We saw all kinds of fish coral and even swam a few feet along with a sea turtle. So fun!
If you want to snorkel in Puerto Morelos, Lighthouse Tours is the company to go with hands down. We went out 2 days in a row and Hilario and Romario were amazing both days (captain and guide). We saw rays, lobster, barracuda, all kinds of amazing fish of course, but the highlights for us were the octopus and sea turtle. Dream come true man. From the initial contact via Whatsapp it was the coolest experience with everyone there.
Easygoing bike rental with Carlos for two days at a reasonable cost. No credit card needed. Included lock but no helmet. These are the heavy single speed type that have fenders (useful for rain!) Carlos first language is English so he gets a lot of questions from the traveling public. After being at his booth three times it was more like a Traveler Information stop. No pressure and no one is in your face. Recommended
We had a great time with Lighthouse on fishing and snorkeling trips. Tomas runs a very professional company and all of his staff is very friendly and helpful. If you’re nervous at all about booking a tour of any kind, go with these guys. They take care of everything, you just have fun! No worries! After fishing, Tomas walked us over to La Sirena where they grilled our fish on the spot and served it with rice, veggies, tortillas for a great price. It was wonderful! All his pricing is extremely fair and affordable. I communicated quite easily with them via Facebook messenger and in person at their 2 booths in town. They also have good deals on tickets to local attractions if you want to drive yourself but avoid the long admission lines. Recommend 100%.
Lighthouse Tours is excellent! Tomas and his crew do a great job with their tours and services. I'm happy to book with them, and when friends and family visit, I know Tomas will take great care of them!
