Dropped off a Hermes parcel earlier, after trying to get his attention to do this, the assistant (too busy talking to his mate on the phone) behind the counter just said “read the sign” which basically explained how I have to use the machine myself because he can’t be bothered to do it. Generally the guy was very rude. Shame because I live locally. Had he provided a friendly service, I would have come back to use the shop regularly for other things. I won’t bother coming back again. I got the impression he doesn’t like people.

Just used the Hermes drop off service. I say 'used' because I had to do it all myself. Was told 'we don't get involved'. So I spent about 15 mins trying to figure out how to use the equipment (that clearly hasn't been cleaned since it was installed, have you heard of Coronavirus?), find the equipment that is spread out around the shop. Eventually my parcel was processed mostly by the lady who wasn't getting involved. She then took my parcel and lobbed it through a door somewhere. I hope it reaches its destination. If you're going to offer a service you need to provide the service.
Brilliant local shop, great customer service and very helpful. Whenever I'm in Pulborough I'm in this shop getting bits I need. ️️️
Just tried to drop off a return Hermes parcel (on a Sunday). Despite Hermes saying open for drop off and the shop being open they wouldn’t take it - said no service at weekends afterv12.30 Saturday! No concept of customer service!
I've always found the people working behind the counter very friendly.
