There's a few things you need to know if you're a visitor to the region. First thing is, you can't access Metrosun unless you have a French, Suisse, German, Italian, or Spanish identity card. There's a key-swipe that controls the front door and without one of these identity cards, you can't enter. Second thing is, assuming you find a helpful local to swipe the door open for you, you'll end up paying 20 Swiss Francs. 10 for an electronic card, and 10 for your first session. So you pay at the machine, after two or three attempts it finally spits out a card, and you find a room. Then you lay your card on top of the card reader and follow the instructions. Best if you read French or German because the "English" translation isn't really very helpful. Now at this point you may get lucky and the system may work for you. Or, it may not. Here's what happened to me: I carefully followed the instructions and went through the menu, selecting gender, age, skin type, etc. At the end, it debited the 10 Francs and told me I had zero balance. I assumed this meant I could now use the machine, but... no. What it meant was the system had debited the card but decided, for reasons of its own, not to activate the sunbed. I went to the cafe next door and chatted to a couple of folk who told me that "when it works, it's very nice." Sadly, it seems not to work reliably enough. So basically, don't bother wasting your time and 20 Francs for a very uncertain outcome.
