Punalur railway station is a hill top station with enough parking area. It's a beautiful station with view of hill. It's a pretty clean station with average facilities . The KSRTC stand is 1.3km away from the station.The trains with stop at punalur is limited.

Good but its not developed yet. very urgently the government should take neccessary actions inorder to make it a better and useful place for the people. There are no hygienic restrooms, there are no better comfort stations and no place for parking facility which is secure. Parking lot is ineffeciently there for no reason but it should be in a proper way. More trains should be alloted for the convenience of the customers. Or else it is just an under rated railway platform for The indian railways
