Its an old temple situated in the banks of kallada river..just one km away from punalur town..lord shiva is the main diety..Very peaceful place...calm atmosphere.. now the temple undergone some reconstruction process...now looks so good..main festival is during SIVARATRI..it also serves as an "sabarimala edathavalam" during sabarimala pilgrimage season.
