Great place in the heart of Baner/ Aundh for trekking. We climbed from Baneshwar temple side. Nice to see the initiative taken by Vasundhara Abhiyan in planting trees. In 20 years, the barren hills will become so green.

Lots of plantation is done by the activists who also gather to water the plants every weekend. Takes not more than 15 min (with slow speed) to climb up. Once reached, there is a walk of almost 20 minutes till the end. Beautiful view of Baner & Paashaan. Natural air makes you fresh and boosts the energy level.

I did not have a great expectation when i was told that there is a trek path in baner. I was pleasantly sure though when I reached there. Word to all the first timers going there. The road leading to Mandir on top from where the actual trek starts is bad. Be careful if you are driving there on 2 wheeler. The mandir has a beautiful view of sunset and it looks picture perfect. The trek is simple and can be done by anyone. It gives breathtaking view of pune city.

Great morning trek place. Very near to Baner, Wakad, Pashan areas. Locals are helping the place by planting trees. Go there early morning as it gets a bit crowded later. You get good city views from the hill top.
