I would say it was a better place. Now everything has been ruined here. The beauty of nature has faded due to metro construction and also due to people littering everywhere inside. There are many birds here but now there are very few of them. Would have been better if it was taken more care.

Not well maintained. It's polluted area. I think birds may think of not coming here. Usually u spot birds early morning 6 to 7 am. Advise do not go alone, go in groups. It's just a safety precaution to avoid any thing wrong. Carry water along with. Metro construction is in progress within sanctuary. The entrance to this sanctuary is through main road , opposite Gunjan talkies. I do not found it too interesting.

This place is a feast to Bird lovers. But thing it authorities and administrators are neglecting this place. It would be no wonder if you find sky scrapers at this place after few years. Authorities should nurture this place instead of neglecting willingly.

Today on 27th Feb 2021 we visited this place and i cannot even mention how badly is this place kept.... why is no NGO coming out to maintain this place... why is not PMC doing anything... even they can charge fees from public... hope something is done soon... but once you are near the river (but it smell like any other nalla) you can be see lot of birds and will make your day.

There are birds but the place is under wilful neglect , the authorities want this place to die so it can be sold of to the land mafia. Great view of Sunset amid the garbage. If you want to go there, go in a large group. Not a kid friendly place. Addicts use this place and could see syringes lying arround. There is no one at the gate and is normally deserted. You will encounter lots of wild pigs and buffalos. Not recommended to go there alone. Could have been a great place for Birding. Saw quite a birds - Brahminy Starlings, Weaver birds, Red vented bulbuls , Indian White eye and ducks.
