I went there to see if my child can have some facility where he can play on ground and some fun activity besides study in school. I was shocked to see application form. They ask too much information about parents,native place? parents nature? Mother's maiden name?, Child school ,principal name ,day care name, child's doctor name, child's nature?, name of siblings? Name of relatives? whether parent do social work? Parents name of service company, income and list goes on....they insist on filling every info? Why do they need private information? What for?

Concept and programs conducted at Garware Balbhavan are great. However the facility needs better upkeep. It appears from outside that this place has it's glory days in the past!

This is possibly the best place for kids in entire Pune. I feel like a miniscule creature in front of what the people associated with Bal Bhavan do. The big ground, sand pit , play station in form of rides etc, what more you can ask for. In addition to play, they also teach various songs, shlokas to childrens. The small trips and an annual gives a platform for kids. I believe the highlight is the 'shekoti' during winter when kids have a night out in Bal Bhavan. If you want your childrens to grow in all aspects, and not just studies, this is the place they need to be. If Google allowed more than 5 stars , this deserves much more. Hats off to Bal Bhavan.
