About the School: A Zilla Parishad School, located in the village - Gawarewadi, just next to Megapolis Terminus, Hinjewadi, Phase-3. The school provides education in Marathi medium, for classes 1 to 4, with the total strength being around 70 students. Being managed by just 2 teachers, they are doing a wonderful job in giving education to these children, who are kids of construction workers or the tapriwalas or the housekeeping staff in various IT companies around. But they no wonder, possess, good manners and behavior! About Us: We started this initiative in March 2014 and with all the good luck and blessings, we have been able to spread smiles on those little faces till today. The teachers in school, are happy with the little hand that we are able to provide. We have been able to teach the children - Basic English (Basic reqt. of the school from us - because teachers believed, we will be able to teach them English better than the teachers there), Personality Development, Some extra-curricular activities, and much more. We have also been celebrating various festivals and other occasions with the kids. Volunteering: We are always taking in keen and interested associates for the initiative. Volunteers visit the school only one hour per week (spending more time, is always appreciated!). We have a pre-set syllabus, which needs to be followed as per the time table, so as to help them with the course and perform well! Experience the joy of spreading smiles! :)
