I usually don’t miss out to try old food establishments in the hope of some authentic local food. When spoke to the owner I got to know that this mess is around 15-16 years old establishment serving veg and non-veg thalis as well as a-la-carte dishes. I enquired about non-veg thalis and finally ordered a chicken thali. They also serve fish thali (with some स्पेशल येरमाळा fish, heard it first time) and mutton thali. Chicken thali was pretty simple with 2 hot chapatis (you can choose bajari bhakari also), bowl of thick rassa chicken and rice. Chapatis were hot and fresh, rassa chicken was out of this world with perfect (secrete?) combination of spices and rice was soft and aromatic. To taste rassa little more I ordered one more hot chapati. I would say chicken thali was with complete homely touch. I am planning to visit this mess again to try out other thalis. If you are the person who like to explore and want to taste authentic Non-veg food then you can check this out.

I think this is the best place to have a maton thali with bhakaries. The taste is pretty good (spicy and the one which ma makes style) and you would find tastes like these rare in Pune.

They serve halfboil chicken in chicken thali... Which is not good..... Some chicken pieces is not eatable.
