I had been a regular customer of L&M since more than a decade now. Earlier I used to visit their JM Road branch, but shifted to Kothrud one since this was close by. But my latest experience with this branch wasn't a pleasant one. Firstly there was no temperature check, especially since the unlock had just started, I had expected that a big name like L&M would do that. Secondly the lights were kept off, atmosphere was dull, staff wasn't keen. They were attending us just for the sake of it. Thirdly no sanitisation was done for any glasses which my kid tried on. Again I expected them to sanitise, being a reputed optician. Fourth, my kid broke the plastic glasses within a month, so we bought the same frame from them to avoid spending on the glasses. The second frame broke again. This time we decided not to buy new frame from them & visited another optician. This new optician did the work of fitting old glasses into new frame in just 5 minutes, whereas L&M took 2 days just to fit the glasses. It's time for them to realise that they have a tough competition not only in terms of variety but also customer satisfaction. I was their loyal customer since a decade but just 2 visits changed my opinion. This was completely unexpected from a reputed optician.
