A hidden gem in the city. Never know a place of such historical importance existed here. It is also an architectural marvel. There is an entry fee of Rs. 10. The place is very well maintained and is very calm and peaceful. Photography is not allowed inside the complex. You wont find many visitors here even on weekends. There is a small shiv temple here. There are benches to sit relax and enjoy the view. There are plans of converting it into a museum. Lets wait and see. This is a must visit place.

Time Monocrat

One of the best peace of art and culture in the middle of the city. Made out of high accuracy and a mixture of Hindu, Muslim and gothic architecture in one. Must visit.

Shinde Chhatri is a memorial located in Wanwadi, Pune. It is dedicated to a Maratha leader, Mahadji Shinde. There is a shiv temple inside the campus. Its architecture is a reflection of Rajasthan & European. Peaceful environment around the temple. This memorial is open from 6am to 9pm. Nominal fee is charged and I found it worth a visit. I would love to go there again. MUST VISIT! Note: This historical landmark is the Non-Smoking zone.

Must visit, it has historical importance. Indian people should know the history and place of bare Indian fighters. Vehicle Parking place and drinking water facility pesent there. Good place. Not crowded but people must visit here.

Never knew about this place until Google Maps recommended it to me. In Wanowarie area of Pune there it's a memorial of The Great Maratha warrior and army chief Shri Mahadji Shinde. Mahadji Shinde and his entire dynasty fought bravely against Mughals and defeated them in many battles. The place has an ancient and very beautiful Lord Shiva temple constructed in black rocks and depicting beautifully carved sculptures all over the walls and temple tops. Refer photos. It has entry fee of 10 for everyone above 3 years. Has good place for parking.

One of the must visit place in pune. I am living in pune since 2015 but never heard of this place. But after visiting it I really like it. It is recommend for those who love to visit historical places and love old temples.
