The wada, known to be the residence of mahatma jyotiba phule. Built in 1852, the place has yet not lost its charm and has now been converted into a museum with photographs of Mahatma Phule and Savitribai. Located in Ganj Peth area, a few kilometers from Pune Railway Station. And the best part is that you get a dose of this remarkable history absolutely free. Note: Timing- [10.30 am to 5.30 pm]

The feeling is like a dreams come true when I visited one of the Auspicious place of my Views. I feel that feeling when I am visiting the Buddha vihara, I feel the peace of mind over there. Because, Its the house of one of the Super Hero who just sacrifice his life for the Dalit, the Untouchables and for the Girl's and women's education in the early Nineteenth century, when its totally banned to educated girl or women. I loved this place from bottom of my heart..

Best inspiring for All.......men,women,leaders, farmers, YOUNG generation.........Mahatma Jyotibaji and Mata Savitriji ,both voluntarily,HAPPILY faced painful struggle through out life to uplift the whole society. All women of India should know their Dedication.Government should arrange proper propaganda, awareness to public of not only Maharashtra but... other states also....to IMBIBE &INCULCATE, PERCEIVE ... THE MEANING OF "SAMTA". .........BUT TILL DATE ALL PARTIES, GOVERNMENT S, have not taken and give it's due "importance,"to rule by few.very sad due to poor coverage of media,tv, newspapers, ministers, rajelok, and especially Central GOVT women and Education Depts....so the struggle for Samta(equality) shall continue go on ..........
