In India, quite a high number of employees have 60-90 days as the standard notice period. This makes it difficult to switch jobs and progress their career. Employers too are getting affected by long notice periods as perfect fit candidates are excludeds from the interview process because they need to serve long notice periods at their current company. It is a vicious circle and is damaging India’s workforce to a great extent. The aim of this movement is to gain maximum support and spread awareness to get employers to change their notice period to 15-30 days max.
