Good place. Quiet place. Brings out the inner zen in you. Should visit during morning times. Like early morning!! Eatables outside if you want to have your tummy full whilst you roam around this place!!

It's a nice place within cities proximity. Great time to visit here would be early morning or evening when the sun goes down to enjoy "City Lights". Also it has got a very nice view of sunrise. Over all a good place to spend some time early morning or evening.

I go here almost regularly. A good place to unwind, relax, and exercise. You can take a lot of different trails. The longest trail covers about 7 km in total. Just be safe during odd hours, take a bottle of water as there are no drinking water taps once you're deep in the forest. Make sure to wear sport shoes as the trails are uneven and rocky. Dress comfortably with light layers. If you're lucky, you'll spot some peacocks wandering about :)

These hills are called 'Lungs of Pune city'. Nice walking trails. The forest ia Beautiful in monsoon season and 2 months post monsoon. One can see peacocks, grey hare and various birds around.
