Regional passport office Pune has old infrastructure and lot of parking space. For any queries related to passport is solve here. For that you need the 1) passport receipt 2) other documents like living certificate, id card, etc For queries people comes here from 8am and line start then office open 9:30 They give token and allow to enter in main office. If passport issue like ️(police verification is not clear and you application pending in regional passport office)️ then 1) if you are student then you have penalties upto 500/- 2) if you are other then student then penalties 5000/- or close application. This problem create duto you not provided you temporary address. Xerox center is away from regional passport office, so keep Xerox with documents.

This is an old passport office in Pune, offers only limited services like enquiry or issue resolution, not much crowd, officers appear cooperative

People are very supportive here. They understand your urgency and help you in the situation. But yes you need to provide your genuine urgency. Only then they can help you. Before approaching them be sure your situation is really genuine. I thank all the people in the office starting from security uncle, the man at the counter, verification Officer and finally The Regional Passport Officer, Pune to grant me my passport looking at my urgent situation. They are doing really commendable job. Grand Salute to our Govt employees.

The officers here are very helpful. Ideal example of how smooth and transparent the passport process has become. They'll understand your problems and deal with the situation efficiently. Go there a bit early to finish the work faster. Keep in the mind that token issuing closes at 12.30pm.

Worst ever experience, ny kids passport applicatiion is submitted on 12th Sept in Pune Passport office since last 40days but still it is under review and neither customer care team able to tell me exact status nor anyone responding any of emails query which I sent more than 19times since kast 3 weeks. Other side our PM announces passoort department becomes efficient and within 1 week...
