Rochem Green Energy is a waste-to-energy plant in Hadapsar, the first in Pune. It was a first such technology in India when it was launched here. It got residents & the municipal corporation thinking about their own & the city waste generated, that it is not waste, and if segregated at source, it can be used to tackle the huge growing problem of waste, and can be used to generate energy.

Very poorly managed infrastructure. No care for environment. Do not follow guidelines and they proclaimed to be environment friendly plant. Pune municipal corporation have no control on this plant.
