I am rating this repair shop on the basis of what they did NOT do for me rather than what they did. My reason for coming to this humble little place was because another electrical repair place told me my iron needed a part that Mahalaxmi would have but they (the 1st place I went) did not. Otherwise, I'd never have even heard of this shop. Or noticed it. The Mahalaxmi people thoroughly tested my iron and eventually said it was fine, that the problem must be in the wall outlet I was trying to use it in. How is that for honesty? For fellow foreigners, I'd recommend you have an Indian with you...one fellow on the staff speaks good English but none of the others.
