Roads to this church is very small. Probably you have to park the four wheeler and walk to the church. Church is small when compared to other churches in akurdi, dapodi or chinchwad

Saint Chavara Kuriakose Elias Church at Dighi is a Roman Catholic Syrian church which is affiliated to the Kalyan Diocese. Christians mainly from Kerala working in Pune and nearby places in Maharastra attend Masses in this church especially on Sundays. The first church of Kalyan Diocese in Pune where St. Kuriakose Elias Chavara is the patron. A close knit community comprising of 110 families united as one in Jesus Christ.
