Enter the church, observe the colorful windows and the perfectly-arranged benches. Sit for a while, relax and pray, and spend a peaceful time inside the church. After a while, you can stroll around the church and experience the greenery of the environment. The view of the church from outside and inside is magnificent. Do not miss to visit this antique building, which is sure to amuse you with its beauty. The church still preserves the ancient 2-bladed fans hanging from the ceiling.

It's a beautiful church. At a distance of 3.5 km from Pune Junction, St. Mary's Church is an ancient church situated in Cantonment Camp of Pune. It is the oldest church in the Deccan region and thus is known as the 'mother church of the Deccan'. It is so peaceful and colourful. You must visit here easpecially in the occasion of Christmas. I attended the contemporary style of worship, that starts at 10:30am. The pastors are very welcoming. The meeting started with songs, followed by Bible reading, message, real life stories and prayer. I felt people attending the 10:30 am service are genuine and want to invest in loving and welcoming people. Must attend!

I celebrated my confirmation there as a Bishop's school boy in 1964. Resivited twice ever since. An architectural gem.

The Church is very beautifully designed, the walls of the church are hanged with the memoirs of ex-soldiers, who sacrificed their lives for something good. The people working here are extremely generous and welcoming. Not being a Christian, I did not know much about the activities that happen on the day of Christmas, I was guided on how to perform them. Prayers are performed by the priests at regular intervals. The atmosphere around the church is absolutely serene. The atmosphere there will definitely help you in removing all the negativities that might keep popping in your mind. I have also added an image which contains the timings of activities that happen here.
