If you are an artist, beware of this so called "platform for artist" scam ! The curator and her friend who was also an artist here ripped off my work and implemented a similar setup in an international festival (see attached pic). TIFA did not even publish my work on their social media. They just published their friends work and tried their best to hide my work. They only promote their friends. They did not even document my work and blamed the lack of documentation on me I was invited as an artist at TIFA for an arttech fest. They had promised me equipment, stay, etc. They did not even have proper internet connection for a new media fest, they did not provide equipment and I ended up shelling out my own money for it. The place to stay was also run down and horrible. On top of it they gave proper exhibition space and equipment to their close friends but i was given a corner room with dangling wires (see attached pic), where the only thing they gave me was a 3rd class 720p projector. A place run by privileged kids from rich families, with no sense of responsibility. Cant believe I fell for this scam and spent my own money for this. Just another small time "platform" scam run by aspiring rich kids so that they can help their friends rip off other artist's work The studio Manager, Shaunak is a nice and genuine human being though!

- another visit for a workshop and discourse on city and our response. The display on the first floor was interesting. The smallish gathering was fine but had there been a larger response the space would have been cramped. Interesting space and the event hosted here - comix fest too was well arranged. The walls need alternative lighting arrangements for wall display. It seems to be an upcoming open space that can be rented or to attend workshops. I am waiting for a communique from the studio for further events, that's when I'll have a better feel of the place. Till then 3stars for want of more information.

Looking For Studios ? Looking For Art Activities & Exhibition Curators ? This Is the best one in pune you'll get. The most enthusiastic art place I've been too. Had Workshop of my college earlier here and spent some productive quality time with my collegemates. Good Place For Art Enthusiast Personalities.

It is a great place that displays art and allows you to express art. The space is very open and appealing. The aura is a little creepy but so exciting!

Not such a great place. Went there to help a friend setup an installation. No support was given. There was no internet. They gave a dark and dingy room to set it up. They didnt refund artist stipend or materials. They didnt publicize the work properly even though a lot of visitors found our installation super amazing. Worse: the curator and some other artist took the ideas that were presented and copied it for an Installation in the US. It was shocking when we saw a few months later on instagram images similar to our work been done by the same artist and curator of TIFA! Maybe Pune might be short of cultural places and this place could have offered a haven to artists but with all due respects if you have an amazing idea and want to show it to the world, do it at your own risk at TIFA.

A Scam, run by people with extreme privilege and rich dads with deep pockets, where curators are looking to rip off artists. As an artist there is no point in participating in their events as they would offer no publicity or visibility to the artist and don't even pay artist fees

A brilliant platform for emerging artists, with a fantastic sensibility that is both contemporary yet timeless. The space is a stunning 1940's art deco building with its own quirks, and the people in the building reflect those quirks. A great place to spend a Sunday playing games or attending one of their myriad events. The atmosphere at TIFA working Studios is never dull.
