We went to the small but very cute store in Pune last year when we were shopping for return gifts for guests at our daughter's wedding. Shweta was very helpful and showed us quite a few tribal handicrafts from India. We finally chose some Madhubani paintings and Shweta was very helpful in getting 200 of these commissioned for us by one of their lead artists in Bihar. She very kindly shared different types of paintings and once she had understood the theme of what we were looking for, she used a lot of imagination and creativity to get 200 unique pieces produced. In addition, she added a nice presentation envelope for each with information typed on the back about the artform as well as a personalised note from the family for the guests. Shweta even allowed us to correct the main language of the description of the art as well as remove some of the other unwanted advertising information on the envelope. She actually prodcued everything well in time and did not take a single penny till she was ready to ship which is very unusual in India. Each painting was about 10"x10" and looks amazing. All our guests loved them. We even ordered a couple of large sized painting for immediate family members who loved them too. In the very end when another supplier had let us down after taking a deposit, Shweta managed to get some 150 jute bags produced for us in under a week with personalisation on one side. These bags were then used to place several gift items for our overseas guests including a Madhubani painting. Everyone loved their gift bags and the contents esp. the Madhubani Painting. Their lead painter is very accomplished and deserves a lot of credit for the very creative works produced which everyone is likely to cherish forever. We would recommend her services wholeheartedly to anyone who wants qualtiy traditional products from India and service with a smile.
