Lahuji is also referred to as Lahujibuwa Mang, since he was from the Dalit Mang community. His father was Raghoji and mother Vithabai. Krantiveer Lahuji Salaveworked for Chhatrapati shivaji maharaj. Because of his great work shivaji maharaj honored him with name "Raut".He Was The Mentor of Bal Gangadhar Tilak.
