Being in the area of social entrepreneurship, WoodenBazaar is trying to add some commercial dimensions to save and serve the ancient Indian art which is in fact dying it's slow death in last few years due to intervention of relatively cheap Chinese toys in the global market. With mass & cheaper forms of production coming up by intervention of Chinese toys in global market, Indian handicrafts are losing it’s charm. But that’s where WoodenBazaar comes in.. Our idea is to promote newer product adaptations and deal exclusively with appropriate marketing strategies for famous Indian toys and handicrafts. Being in the area of social entrepreneurship, we're not only promoting organic wooden toys and crafts but also planting trees for every sell we make at WoodenBazaar as a part of our corporate social responsibility. Behind WoodenBazaar, our gentle and sincere attempt is to encourage people all across the world to buy these amazingly handcrafted wooden articles and help us in saving and serving the ancient Indian art. We also urge people in promoting Eco-friendly wooden toys and crafts instead of plastic toys among which more than 90% are made in China. Uplifting Indian art will not only help us saving the art but will also boost the local economies by bringing more opportunities and sales channels to artisans working in different areas of India.
