Room is not clean. For hot water you need to keep water running for 5 minutes to get hot water. Breakfast is only bread, cheese & jam. There is no elevator. Girls on the reception is helpful. Location is good within 2 minutes walk to the shopping street.

Good value for money. Great location and the stuff is super helpful. They booked our tititaca tour for us and kept our big backpacks with them for 2 days. They have hairdryers and hot water showers. Free tea all day long and a decent breakfast that starts at 6am for the early travellers.

Great value. Staff very friendly and location very good. The reception is open early and late which is very convenient for a city of "transit" like Puno. Breakfast was the downside of it but overall a very good experience in this hostel.

Great place. More like a cheap hotel than hostel however the breakfast is OK, rooms are clean, staff is friendly and you can chill either upstairs or at the reception (open long hours - good for early/late buses).

Very nice hostel for budget travelers. Personnel helpful and polite and understands needs of guests. Clean rooms. Some disadvantages: a lot of rooms without windows and aghful morning coffee, but still advantages cover drawbacks. Next time in Puno I will visit the hostel for sure.

Cons: there was an awful smell from the drain in bathroom, the whole time! Also the drain of the shower didn't work properly. There were no possibilities to hang towels or clothes. Most of the power outlets were loosely attached to the wall, so often the plug pulled everything off the wall. The wifi was mediocre. Pros: the price was unbeatable. We paid 12 per night in a double room with private bathroom. Included was a very good breakfast (for Peruvian standards), which offered plenty of fresh fruits as well as ham, cheese and jam. Verdict: I was unsure whether to rate 3 or 4 stars. The price was great but the accommodation has plenty of room for enhancements. I would stay there again for a very short stay if I cannot find any better option for under 20 per night.
