One of the best Bengali Restaurant you can find in the Golden Beach side in puri. Do give it a try. The prices here are affordable.

I was staying in VICTORIA CLUB HOTEL. Every year I go to Puri & Mostly go for lunch to Ruchira restaurant which is located in Hotel SONALI.There food was very reasonable, pocket friendly n all staff were very good. But now Kasturi restaurant is replaced in there. Me n husband went for lunch, Meal options r available in there restaurant menu cards but there has no meal Thali at all. Everybody z going for thali then they r telling us there has no Thali options available. Ok we r agreed. Then we hv ordered food then said if we need extra PAPAD then we will order later on but restaurant staff strictly told us “Pore order dile hobe na bcz onek rush ache”. God shake I hv all proof that there was no rush at all. Some people r there only. But still they have denied to serve food if we order PAPAD later. When we hv ordered lunch in same time we hv mentioned “Please serve MASALA COLA before serving food” but we were waited 20mints for only MASALA COLA n then they gave us old cola & didn’t touch but they debited money for cola. food was horrible. Please I am requesting u all do not waste your money for this bad Restaurant. Go PARIJAT, go RUCHIRA but not KASTURI. Worst experience in here. Very very bad management there.

Expensive, popular items were not available... Prawn malai curry is full of onion garlic flavour instead of coconut milk creamy texture.. Only 4 medium size prawn in Rs 250, sea side u can get, 5/6 fresh prawn in Rs 100..

Bengali cuisine served but not at all properly maintained. It caters to the tourists belonging to the very lower middle class. It lacks proper hygiene. It's totally clumsy.

It can easily get 5 star for the preperation and taste. However, forced to give 4 star due to service delay and not having the full menu available, particularly their delicacy items like shilebata varities..
