Here the famed Guru of Ramakrishna Paramahansa, Totapuri Maharaj live the last 40-50 years of his life This is the place where Sri Sri Tota Puri attained his mahasamadhi in 1961. Legend has it that he had lived for 300 years before attaining Mahasamadhi in 1961 at this place - Advaita Brahma Ashram at at Girnar Bant, Puri. Sri Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa lived during 1836-1886, and was taught by Tota Puri at around 1865-66. Totapuri Baba was also known as Nanga Baba, Nangtababa, Nagababa, Languli Baba, Digambar Baba, Kankaria Baba. This Asharama was formed by Tota Puri Maharaj.

Subhajit Ghosh (Babai)

This is establishment of one of the oldest monks in India. He was the Guru of Shri Ramakrishna Param Hansa. The location is very peaceful and in the wilderness. You shall definitely feel the connection with supreme power if you feel that way. For others it is a good place to find yourself which is next to impossible in bustling cities. Highly recommended for all age if you love quiet places.

Quite and nice place. Not so known but everyone should add a must visit while in Puri. Shree Totapuri was guru of Ramkrishna Parmansha.

This Ashram is on the way of Lokanath Temple Road. It is based on a High altitude. Worship place of "Adwaita Bramha". Its Temple is on a High altitude , so it is easily visible from a distance on the Road. Visitors have to climb up the Big & Comfort Stairs to reach at the top. (As Shown in my Photos. ) ENTRY FEES: Absolutely Free of Cost. PARKING FEES: There is no specific Parking Slots for vehicles. So visitors can park their vehicles on the Main Gate Road Side. * MOBILES , CAMERAS & PHOTOGRAPHY is allowed inside the Ashram. BEST TIME TO VISIT: Evening Hour. So that visitors can easily walk upward & feel the Calm & Cold weather of surrounding Garden/Greenery.
