Have visited the pub a few times now post lock-down and I'm very impressed with the level of service. Staff are friendly and welcoming and you are temperature checked and offered hand sanitiser when entering. You are then shown to a table where drinks are brought to you and you can pay at the table too with contact-less payment. The upstairs area has been completely redone and looks great.

A small pub but very friendly staff with drinks at a reasonable price. They also do a loyalty card which is an added bonus. I'd recommend.
Nice place to chill for a few after work
Always a welcoming place for a drink. Have spent far too many times in there. Always a good reception. Lunches are good comfort food such as baked potatoes. Every Thursday is poker night, but have yet to partake. Have hired the function room several times which is free and good party food can be provided. Occasional karaoke, which I somehow don't think I'm going to explode asked to come back for.
Small, friendly and does great pizza at very low price. It can't be called a great bar but unfortunately Purley lacks one of those. Elliotts is a good enough place for a pint or two
