Food was up to standard. Their 荔枝肉，芋头，小菜is a must try. But it’s better to tell the price before order something to me. I though the promo set was included the rice/noodles, coz the staff just like asking do you want rice or noodle, only realized when I get the bill.
Food is decent. Small portion and slightly expensive. Service is good, they will give you a plastic bag to keep your face mask. Overall dining experience is good. Love their 兴化米粉 , so !
Got a seat right away for 5 people on a public holiday at for dinner. A lil bit more expensive as usual, portion were small but taste was great. However the eel is chewy, if you prefer something soft, maybe that’s not for you.
Their dishes are quite authentic and taste almost exactly the same as what I had for meals in Putian, China, where i used to travel to frequently. The only downside is that the portion is quite small, especially when the pricing is quite a bit on the high side.
Appalling customer service. Called to book a table for dinner at 7.30 pm today. A lady asked me if I wanted normal eat or birthday eat (to quote her verbatim) and told me her name was Mi Chin (Miss Ching?) When I arrived at 7.30pm, my record was not on the reservation list. Mi Chin said she had reserved a table for me but another group of customers had snatched the table and refused to leave (quote her verbatim). She took down my phone number and promised to call me once those customers leave. I returned 10 minutes later to find that another group had already occupied that table she's supposed to have kept for me. Mi Chin told me to go back at 8.30pm. I asked her why she did not call me and gave the table to someone else. She had nothing to say. Despite my complaint, no apology was rendered. I was so furious I left. I don't think I'll want to go back to this Putien ever again when this nasty, fat lady is still managing the place. I wonder why, of all the people, she was hired for this job. She should be fired. How can a person with such poor attitude and bad customer service skills manage a michelin star restaurant? No matter how good the food is, I won't ever want to be mistreated again. What a shame!
The food is definitely good, eventhough the portion is quite small. I would prefer if the dishes could come out together and not one by one, the interval between each dish to be served takes about 10 minutes which makes it very hard to enjoy the meal. I wish this could be improved, but overall the service is definitely good !
Lunch with my favourite Yam dishes.. service still as good as like time.
