When you walk to Puttur from Nehru nagar area, there are landmarks like Puthur College and Kodippadi police office. There is one Khilriya Masjidh here followed by a posh Udayagiri restaurant on the highway junction. Bolwar is the next suburb where you can spot the famous Hariprasad Restaurant. They have one more branch near the post office. There is one Nirmala restaurant near the police station. The bus station at Puttur is quite elaborate with restaurants like Narayana seafood, Vaibhav Vegetarian and Sanvi juice center. They even have one Hindustan Lodge inside the bus station building. If you are thirsty, you can quench it at the Dinesh Bar or the Pradeep icecream parlor outside the bus station.
