This is not a bed and breakfast, tourist information or the beach as in previous reviews. Porth y Swnt is a National Trust centre that provides displays and hands on activities all about the Llyn peninsula. It focuses on the wildlife and ecological issues surrounding the area. It's 2 for non trust members and the car parking is 4 for non trust members (all free if you have your membership card). I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the various immersive displays and my daughter loved the children's activities. Worth a visit.

Our first visit here, and we loved it. The kids had plenty to do with their activity packs and the staff were really helpful. We are national trust members so will be coming back.

Interesting centre that gives a good introduction to the area. With a handy car park close to beach.

Very unique centre portraying the area through visual items and words, all connecting to the area. I though I wouldn't enjoy it as I am a bit of traditionalist! But I did and it helped me understand bit more about the Llyn peninsula. Take time to listen to the audio guide to get an understanding, if you race round it without taking the time to LISTEN and look properly then you would probably find it boring. Great staff including Fred who was very helpful and thanks to him I saw my first Chough today, so thank you Fred! Gift shop and toilet and free carpark for NT members, right by the beach. Went in January so unfortunately all the cafes and the bakery were shut. Pub was open though!

Fascinating info/visitor centre, with great array of activities for children. Also great to stop into, especially to warm up, after getting throughly windswept on the beach!

Fantastic place to take little ones! And very cheap if you don't have a national trust membership

Poetic and beautiful, a lovely artistic introduction to the beauty of the Llyn Peninsula. Amazing artwork and interactive pieces make it fun for all ages too.
