A wonderful place to hike for a about a good hour but has some challenging climbs to put in one awesome cardio workout. lovely lay out. However I avoid hiking there from middle June through early December as the deer ticks become increasingly abundant especially in fall weather.

Great place to explore on foot or by paddles along Deer Creek. Plenty of trails, a nature center, a historic grist mill and dam, plus a couple of grills, tables & a pavilion. Beautiful place to hike, paddle, and/or forest bathing. Plenty of wildlife to be observe along many sit spots. Unfortunately no biking on trails.

A nice quiet place to walk along the river. If you plan on going up into the woods on the trails bring bug repellent. You will thank me later.

Great day for a calm boat trip. Water is flat and cool. Highly recommend the location for beginning canoe and kayakists.
