This is a very nice peaceful calm spot for kayaking. My wife and I are new to kayaking, so this location was perfect. There were a handful of people fishing, as they stock it with trout. The ramp makes loading and unloading simple, with a rubber mat in place to help. Be warned if it's hot and sunny, there is no shade. No big trees hanging over the water to provide shade. But all in all, it's a nice calm place to kayak!

Small parking lot at trailhead. Well marked trails. Nature Center has large parking lot and port-o-potties. Nice open area and info wayfinders

It was a nice relaxing park. Next time we go to Maryland we will definitely go back. I wouldn't mind hiking the trails to see more of the park.
