Amazing spot, with local vendors and great history.

Loved this place with lots of little artisan shops. The building itself is a 2-story colonial, built around 11 patios and courtyards which in turn are lined with individual shops and studios of many different artisans. I purchased some textiles as well as a gold leafed copper bowl. Patzcuaro is all about artisans and this is a great place to see a variety of them.

Nothing spectacular at all. The place is in good condition but I was expecting a kind of museum. Here there are plenty of small stores which sell local goods and souvenirs. Nice articles in case you look for shopping
