Janus Pannonius College for Advanced Studies in Economics (Janus Pannonius Közgazdasági Szakkollégium) is an organization dedicated to provide high quality education to its members in the fields of economics and social sciences. The community is formed by the most talented students of the University of Pécs Faculty of Business and Economics. During the years of operation members of the JPCASE have attended more than 100 extracurricular courses, and participated in many of the country’s most prestigious professional competitions, winning many prices. Besides creating a strong professional community, the JPCASE also aims to strengthen the connections among other Hungarian colleges. That is why it established the National Conference of Colleges for Advanced Studies (Országos Szakkollégiumi Találkozó) and the Papp László Accounting Competition (Papp László Számvitel Verseny). The college has strong connections with its former members. To enhance this connection, graduated members formed the alumni association of the JPCASE, the VPKSZE (Végzett Pécsi Szakkollégisták Egyesülete).
