The dormitory are great and very helpful for international students. You have to bring your own cooking utensils and do your own laundry (good luck with that). The welcome desk open 24 hours and very helpful when needed.

Szanto dormitory is one of the best dormitories not only in Pécs but also in Hungary. It provides accomodation for both Hungarian and international students with affordable monthly allowance. They clean the rooms everyweek, change the sheets every second week, provide WIFI network, and also laundary service. In most of the cases, there are two students in each room. You have to bring your own kitchen tools, and drying racks, but the overall situation is good.

Good services, mediocre public Wi-Fi depending on where you are in the dorm, some troubles with bugs coming from the windows but will be easy to deal with if you cooperate in the cleaning routine with the staff, study lounges available, a smoking room (though unavailable due to the COVID pandemic at the time), some toiletries provided, other hygiene products are not, location-wise it is somewhat close to many shops and bus stations, traveling by bus around the city is easy and affordable, especially if you are a student, for muslims you should bring your own water source in the toilet as there is no outlet inside for ablution after taking care of business.

If you are looking for a dormitory in Pécs as an exchange student, or as a student of the University of Pécs, this is your best option. 2 people per room, 2 rooms share a kitchen (no oven :( ), a bathroom and a toilet. The building has a modern feel to it, and is quite clean. Be vary, that my description of the rooms only applies to building block \C\. Also prepare for the fire/smoke alarm going off randomly, but that's something that you have to deal with in any dormitory. :D
