One of the worst experience I have in Qantas is standing 3 hours by foot in engineering office at LAX. How a big company doesn't have enough chair during interview time,I am not getting it. It was not only me,we all 20 people has same experience. Another big squawk I saw people came here not even has license in hand, but I had 11 years is not observed. All ball on the same table. I was not hired but assumed people hire with less experience.Its really good practice for bigger company. It was mismanagement although I like many Australian company. Next time be fit!

Qantas suggested that I should check in 24 hours before my flight to Australia using the app or the website. I tried to check in both of those ways and was unsuccessful. I tried calling customer service. The recording told me that I would be waiting 45 to 54 minutes. After two hours of listening to extremely low fidelity music on hold, I spoke to a Qantas representative. He asked my name and booking number, which I told him, and he said that I would be unable to check in with either the app or the website, and that I would have to check-in at the airport. This is a very unsatisfactory beginning for a trip to Australia.

Terrible customer service. When my group was left stranded in LAX last week due to flight delays we received no support from Qantas staff on the ground. Qantas call center staff had nothing to offer either, simply referring us to the Qantas counter in the airport - which we had already told them was closed. The only reason we managed to get any help and some meal vouchers was that one of our group members got stuck at security screening and was able to talk directly to a rebooking agent. Qantas then sent half of our bags to Chicago while we flew to Montreal abd took days to find and deliver them to us. My emails to them about compensation have been ignored. Disappointing.
