Completely disorganised. This is the second time we have visited and in both occasions the wait was ridiculous. I would have been more than understanding if they had been busy. We made a simple order of three drinks and three food. The first food arrived 10 minutes after ordering but no hot drinks. At 20 minutes the hot drinks arrived but the wrong ones. The hot drinks then arrive several minutes later but still no food (25 minutes after ordering). The food was two cheese scones... Not the hardest. I'd like to give a better review because the food, drinks and decor is great, but when you order you expect it to be prompt, correct and not have to remind the staff what you ordered. The boss/manager needs to completely review the work flow if they want to keep their customers Shame

Disgusted in today's meal. Put me right off. Should've complained but didn't want the hassle. Still love the decor but stick to what you know. That was not a 3 bean chilli! Friend got the same but literally one spoon of sauce is not enough
Great food & service. Staff are really pleasant. Only issue was that I don't think there is a venue car park. Just parked up on the main straight instead.
Really nice tearooms - I'll definitely call in again if I'm passing. Lovely food and really cosy atmosphere with very pleasant staff.
Lovely surprise of a place made from the old Hamsteels Inn pub on Front Street, Quebec, near a play park and the junction to Langley Park and Esh village. Great food and setting. Wish it well. We tried it today - a Sunday afternoon treat for grandma and two girls. Prices are reasonable and whole presentation is unexpectedly top notch. Close to Lanchester and Ushaw, in NW Durham it is a gem. Still a bit rookie service from young staff, but that will improve. Has a child's corner. Come on! new mums and carers, get here on a morning. Fresh food, awesome cakes, supports local producers. And it also appeals as a calm very pleasant tea room to meet friends, this is the spot, with its emerging gift shop as well. Looks wheelchair friendly. Glad Quebec has this new place to meet in. How fab were it one day to become an evening tea room. Well done Anne, the boss
