Good location and okay menu, but service could be improved. Outside terrace was full, and we got overlooked/forgotten many times, to the point where we decided to only have drinks and move on to somewhere else for food.

Everything is fine. Nice cafe inside literally 7 different but connected old houses. Food is good, I would recommend their \pizza\ thingy, with pears and ginger. Hot drinks (coffee, tee) are a bit expensive.

The food is really good. We tried the vegetable pot, and it was fantastic. The pastries and cakes are excellent as well. They didn't have a lot of help, there were two or three ladies taking care of 100 people and so it might take a while to get your check. No one spoke English which has been a recurring theme in Quedlinburg. They only thing I can think of is, it is a rare gem that only German's get to enjoy and not a lot of international visitors get to go there, so there really isn't need for English to be spoken. We were able to work around all of them issues. The people are really nice.

We were under time pressure and my partner wanted a quick espresso before our drive home, so we went inside to order. When we asked if we could have a coffee to have here and pay straight away and have a normal cup, the waitress refused. we understood and said it was ok to have a take away. She proceeded to make fun of us to her colleagues within earshot, because of our mistake. A different waitress came to take our money and asked for 4,60. We asked if that’s for one espresso, and she said ‘no for two’. When we said we only wanted one (for my partner), the first waitress sighed loudly and shoved one cup into my hand. The coffee was also very average, but we weren’t expecting anything remarkable from a push button machine. Feeling very embarrassed and very annoyed, we left the city with regret that this café was our final impression.
