My mother is at QUEEN CITY ASSISTED LIVING & i can never get ahold of anyone there the phone juts rings and says out of service... she has a cellphone but when I need to talk to management I can never give a answer. Also there is certain employee giving her a hard time I tried to call and speak to the employee about what is going on she said she didn’t want to talk to Me! I understand things are crazy right now with the virus and I am not one to ever complain but I am at my wits end I understand my mother is not the perfect patient but when you sign up for this time of work, you have to deal with that & no abuse someone and talk to them like a dog. I just want my mom to be in a place where she is not tore up everyday. I guess the OMBUDSMAN will be on my to do list soon in . This is crazy. Times are crazy but I can’t get ahold of anyone via phone...I give props to all the health care workers during this time and y’all are amazing for willing to do this but that doesn’t mean you have to be rude constantly.

This 5 star rating is not because this AL is perfect because it is not. This 5 star rating is because I am extremely grateful for the staff and Administrators taking care of my mother and the other residents during COVID-19. My mother has eaten everyday and has been safe and overall well. There are things that need to be improved but as a public school educator I understand making the best of what is giving to you. It is my hope that others will invest in QCAL and help raise pay for the staff and more resources for those that live there. If you are a caregiver and reading this, please do your part in helping facilities be better than you found them.

This was a filthy place when i lived there. The food was horrible and the majority of staff treated the resident horrid. If you got your meds they were wrong, not on time or you may not have gotten them at all. They were changing staff when i left, i pray-for their sake-it was for the better. I wouldnt let them watch my pet snake. Watch out because they have got a great game face. I had to call the Ombudsman & the state. Beware.

I use to stay here but I got kicked out cause I called the state because they wasn't giving me my medicine for 2 weeks n then they refused to help me wen I was I need of help. The front office people are very disrespectful with us they let people get beat up n there n hit other people n don't do anything bout it at all .4 different administrators since I've been there of 4 months. Has bed bugs roaches and nats all over the place they all always lying to the people there about things.. I had a brand new laptop computer and someone took it n they new who it was didn't do anything bout it. So they said they would Replace it and I would get it for CHRISTMAS GUESS WHAT NO COMPUTER CAUSE THERE EMPLOYEE THAT WAS IN CHARGE TOOK THEM ALL N PLUS OTHER THINGS TAT WAS FOR US.. SO NOW IM WITH OUT MY COMPUTER TAT THEY OWE ME FROM BEING THERE.. TO BE HONEST I WOULDNT SEND ANYBODY THERE AT ALL THAT IS HOW BAD IT IS JACK HARRIS
