and here is something human incredibly human and me? i am breathing only, only wanting to be pulled in deeper and i shudder when i inhale and when i speak im breathless of course sadness means contorting i am overwhelemed by stitches in things to the point of panic all day i stay perfectly still, in hopes that someone will come shake me from my madness drowning in solitude and gasping for air in your arms

I was studying piano tuning and this is a lovely place to get to see how Steinway produces their pianos. I feel every pianist/musician needs to come here. It's great to see the different stages of building a piano to the tuning stage. We met and saw lovely wood crafts and saw beautiful, intricate designs for pianos as well. There is a wait to book to go - so definitely sign up sooner. They provide the goggles to walk around the factory and there's a tour guide who is happy to answer your questions.
Excellent tour. So fascinating to see a piano made.
The YouTube videos are better than the actual tour. We only heard about 1/3 of the tour guide's comments because the factory was so loud and we're not that old! He had some good stories to tell, but I wanted to see how the intricate parts of the piano were made, not just the furniture part. I don't feel we had enough time to stay and watch the workers at each station.
I love this place because I work here and it's music to my ears.
