Cozy German restaurant with authentic German dishes and house roasted deli meats. Plus German beers on tap. The owner is also super knowledgeable about German cuisine and culture. Definitely stop by when you're in the Lake George area.

The food and service was excellent. Everything we had tonight was delicious. I had the German Tour and really enjoyed the sauerbraten! I would easily order it again. The beef au jus with the horseradish sauce is a must have. We also orded the special which was a pork schnitzel with ham, cheese and a bacon sauce on top of it. My recommendation would be get more German beers on tap. Other than that, everything was great. Will be coming back.

Took a trip out to see the eastern side of NY. Wanted to get out and be in the nice weather. Took the family out into Glens Falls Queensbury area. Was getting around dinner time, kids were getting hungry. Decided to stop here thinking it be a nice meal. Nothing like it really around. Bad idea. Ordered the veal schnitzel. Talk about eating rubber. Almost like they deep fry them. All you can taste is oil. My daughter got chicken fingers. They were so overcooked I didn't even bother saying anything..I was so irritated. Our waitress Dena had such attitude with us, we couldn't wait to leave the embarrassing scenery. My wife got a hiedleberg club and there was so much Russian on it you could barely taste anything but the dressing. Not to mention the bathrooms...I wanted to throw up after smelling straight up sewer. I had to literally hold my shirt over my nose while I was in there. Disgusting!!!!!!.

We were looking for a German restaurant in the area as our "normal" place has transitioned a very limited menu. Did some research and based on reviews decided to try it. There were seven of us in our group. Great food and excellent service. Everyone enjoyed their meals. Very small restaurant, but quaint. We will definitely be going back.

The sausage is really good! But the rest of our meals were just okay. The pretzel is not homemade which was a bummer. The spatzle was too broken up and was not enjoyable. The Heidelberg Burger wasn't good, the raw red onion overpowered everything. Would have given 4 stars for the sausage and adorable restaurant alone though. The staff are friendly. I would come again.

Wow! Authentic German cuisine that's absolutely delicious. We had the sampler with Bockwurst Knockwurst and Bratwurst, tangy sauerkraut and warm German potato salad, everything tasted amazing. Potato pancakes with thick, tasty, and cooked nice and crispy. Warm pretzel rounded out the dinner and also had the Dunkel dark beer. Waitress was helpful, friendly and attentive. They are keeping everything clean, distanced, and safe for everyone.

Excellent . German food and excellent beer. Owner and staff very friendly with great recommendations. Small interior so we opted to eat in the Biergarten which was delightful. Saurebarten was like homemade and the Jager Schnitzel was also very good. Blueberry pie was freshly baked and in season. Highly recommend. Away from the tourist traps and a local gem.
