I had been in contact with Richard since before Christmas about some renos at a townhouse I was closing in early January. He indicated he could do some tile work in the shower and install a new sliding glass door for me. I had the electrical (outlet and a baseboard heater) in the wall removed, which took out some drywall, under the window where the new door would be. Yesterday afternoon we had a schedule in place to do the work, then this morning he cancels on both jobs. My flooring is due to be installed Feb 16th. Still need to paint which was being held until Richard did the door. Now I am left scrambling to try and find a contractor who can do the job in the time frame. I can't even hold off on the door now because the wall is open and the electrical was removed. Pretty unprofessional to commit to a job then bail last minute, especially after I committed money to the prep. This is why you stick with professional installers and stay away from "handymen" I guess.

Fantastic experience - easy to work with, trustworthy, shows up on time, excellent communications and flexible (i.e. was able to add additional work/painting after he started). I had Richard install a tile backsplash in my kitchen. He did an amazing job, and i am very pleased more with the work. He is very professional, prompt and ensures the least amount of mess and disruption in the work space. I look forward to working with him on future renovation projects in my home. Richard did an awesome job painting our bathroom, and all our doors. He also did touch up painting and caulking tub and sinks. He was fast getting back to us when we requested a quote. Did the job in a timely fashion!
