Food was AMAZING. Service was excellent. Very high energy. Positive vibes. They just finished renovating and it really looks AMAZING. not to mention they did all of the art work and signs themselves. Was very impressed. And the amount of food you get!!!! Enough to fill you enough your about to pop and then your take home leftovers is still another whole meal in itself!!! All for a truly AMAZING price... Heavy D... You get Sh@# done!!! Anyone living in the Quesnel Caribou region... This place is a MUST try... Lebanese twist to their food makes this dine in experience one worth boasting about... Keep up the good work you guys.

Our friends who live in town told us about Heavy D's and we were trying to decide between the "safe" choice Mr Mike's, and a couple other places we have been to before. We're super glad we ended up choosing Heavy D's BBQ. I am currently so full of food I can hardly walk, the portions here are all definitely shareable. And the prices are incredibly reasonable. The owner is really a treat in himself, very entertaining and creates a fun entertaining atmosphere. We'll be eating here again for sure!
Hands down the best pulled pork sandwich I've ever had in my life. If I had to take Gordon Ramsay out to dinner in Quesnel, I'd take him here, absolutely outstanding food.
Happened to be in Quesnel on business and had read reviews on this restaurant. Decided to stop in for lunch and it did not disappoint. I ordered the senior sized Pulled Pork (smaller option portion) and it was big and delicious! The buns are homemade and totally amazing. Service was steller and the gal was super nice. There are a few other items I look forward to trying next time I am in town. Below is 1/2 of my sandwich that I had to go.

We were greeted by all the staff when we walked through the doors, it felt like coming home. It was Friday night which meant BBQ Ribs, OMG! They were so good, falling off the bone, tender! The meal is 2 can dine for 30.00, you get warm pita bread with tzatziki, a choice of 3 salads and a platter each with Mediterranean rice and a huge rack of ribs each! We didn't have room for dessert, which look delicious. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, the newly renovated restaurant is fantastic! Vegan, Gluten Free and Keto options available.
