The staff is very friendly, but I didn't like the accommodation. We had a Hut outside without airco, airco is Luckely not needed because the hut is not closed. But we didn't get any beds or mattresses for in the Hut. After many questions we got 2 blankets to sleep on which was less comfortable then I had imagined for the price. The next day I also found out we had to pay for those blankets. There are very few insects except For the ants and some sand flies and the beach is wonderful. There is only power from 6pm to 6am,which is nice when you want to charge your phone but not so nice when your fan shuts off at 6am and you wake up in sweat half an hour later. Food was good but was delivered quiet late, they asked us when we wanted to have dinner, but then forgot to actually make it. The next morning with breakfast was the same problem, out of breakfast. So in short, nice staff, but accommodation of the huts could be way better.

Perfect place for a getaway from the busy city life. If you're a person who enjoys the beach plus peace and quiet, this is highly recommended when visiting Cagbalete island.
Place is very secluded which is good for those looking for serenity during their vacation. No night life, just pure sound of the water rushing to the shore.
If yourelooking for a place of tranquility, this is the place. I loved my stay here so much that I still reminisce about how secluded but beautiful this place is. The caretakerwas still all smiles even though we decided to go to the next resort the next day which we regretted. Love thiis resort and will definitely come back!
Their staff are wonderful! Whenever you get out from the beach and go inside they will follow the water dripping from you and mop them then sweep the remaining sand off the floor, they also clean the cr/bath everytime someone finishes using it so the facility inside are really clean everytime. The only disappointment is that they don't take out the seaweeds which was washed ashore, but all in all the best place to stay in cagbalete island.

The locals in MVT Sto. Nino are VERY friendly! My group got a chance to chat with them a few times and We felt at home with them. What I find negative in MVT Sto Nino are the numerous dogs that loiter the vicinity. They are quite territorial at times too.
