The following review is leaning to the kid/teen side of the spectrum, and as I(13) only go there to cool off I didn't like it that much. The beach does not get deeper. The mud does. If you're okay with a knee-deep dunk then it's for you (if you don't mind the millions of floating dust-debris or whatever that disgusting thing is). Or if you just wanna walk around or lie on the sand. Other than that, it's no fun. The beach/swimming feature of the park was fun last year, but I'm afraid it's not the case this year.

Nice n cozy
Great spot for a short paddle around the lake. Many birds make their nests around here so it is prime for birdwatching. There's a sandy beach to launch from, adjacent to the small parking lot. A porta-potty is set up here in summer.
