Best motes in town! Love this place, whenever i have a chance i make my way to the San Juan hills in Quito for some motes con fritada, or in English homony with fried pork. It now costs 4 usd per plate but its worth it. The aji or hot sauce is amazing. Legend has it that they stir the mote with a dead mans bone. If you are in Quito and have some time to kill and are hungry, i highly recommend making your way to San Juan for this culinary tradition.
